Decorative truss brackets, post bases, joist hangers and handrail brackets are just a few of the specialty items manufactured by Sun Metal. Over 180 square feet of computerized plasma cutting equipment is on site. This software-driven technology will reproduce any custom drawing and transport it to the plasma tables.

Mass quantities of specific parts can be laid out on each sheet of metal, insuring maximized use of material. Almost any light-gauge steel can be used up to 1/2" plate including copper, brass and pre-primed metal. Plasma cutting provides accurate contours with tolerances up to 1/16".

Sun Metal also has welding, rolling and braking equipment on site to complete your design. The pieces can be left with a bare finish, can have a variety of powder-coated colors or textures applied, or can have a specialty paint applied as a finish.
